Puppy with His Belongings Patiently Awaits Rescue in the Woods
Hank, an 8-month-old puppy, was found by a Good Samaritan in the woods, lying still on a discarded dog bed surrounded by old toys and a sealed bag of dog food. Despite his desperate situation, he showed no signs of aggression and was described as sweet and loving by Rosa Fond, founder of Humans and Animals United.
Hank was brought to a vet, where it was discovered he had a broken leg, an injury sustained over two weeks prior. Due to the severity of his injury, he required extensive surgery. Humans and Animals United took over his care, ensuring he received the medical attention he needed.
Currently, Hank is gaining weight and enjoying affection from the veterinary staff while preparing for his surgery. Although many have expressed interest in adopting him, Fond emphasizes that Hank's journey to full recovery will take time. Nevertheless, he is now safe and will never suffer again.
